Jesus Strategy Overview

This is the banner training track of Wavemakers that provides a chronological study of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ for ministry leaders to gain a fresh glimpse of the process of building a disciplemaking movement.

At the end of the seminar, they will have:
• discovered how Jesus created a movement of multiplication in His three and a half years of earthly ministry
• begun to evaluate their ministry according to Jesus’ model
• been familiar with the priorities of Jesus’ strategy and learned how to start applying them in their ministry regardless of size or tradition
• considered to reach their community and beyond

Foundations

This looks at the way Jesus began a disciplemaking movement that will allow leaders to develop their own ministries. It closely studies the pillars that He established at the start of His earthly ministry so that leaders will know how to apply them in their own contexts and so build a strong base towards growth and multiplication.

At the end of the seminar, the leaders not only will have evaluated themselves in each of these priorities but will also have identified ways on how to integrate them into their respective ministries.

Target Audience
Ministry leaders

Duration
6 hours ideally or 1 day (content only)

Everyday Commission

This addresses four critical questions that every believer must face in order to live life as Jesus did:
• What is my divine purpose?
• What does God want to produce through my life?
• What are the disciplemaking priorities God has called me to?
• How do I choose the right activities to help me fulfil God’s mandate of multiplication?

At the end of the seminar, the participants will have been challenged to four commitments in response to each of these questions.

Target Audience
Believers

Everyday Commandment

This identifies expressing God’s love as a process of Eternal CPR—Cultivating, Planting, and Reaping. It is eternal because it impacts the destiny of the people around us.

• develop Christ-like friendships
• share God’s truth in these relationships
• challenge them to respond to the gospel
